Go to any prayer altar and redeem all available soul orbs into hearts or stamina - if you've already started adding hearts, just keep adding to those.

A fair amount of rupees - 1000 or more recommended but you can do it with less (have managed to do this myself with 500).At least 4 soul orbs (or at least one extra heart/stamina wheel chunk) - the more you have, the faster the glitch will work.However, by using a glitch in the game, you can max out both. Normally, in Breath of the Wild, you can only max out either your hearts (30), or your stamina (3 wheels) - there is no legit way to max out both.
This is a little old but still works on the latest version with no signs of being patched any time soon.
